Virtual staging

Empty rooms, furnished — and labelled as such

Furniture rendered into an empty room, with a permanent disclosure on the image and the film.

Not scheduled

Not scheduled. It is the easiest feature to build dishonestly, so it waits until disclosure and review exist.

Virtual staging is legal in most markets and misused in most of them. The rule here is simple: a staged image is always labelled, on the asset and in the film, and the empty original stays attached to the project.

How it is meant to work

01

Disclosure is structural

The label is burned into the export metadata, repeated in the caption and shown in the app next to the asset. Removing it is not a setting.

02

Scale from the room, not from taste

Furniture is placed against detected floor planes and door heights. A sofa that floats or a table taller than the doorway reads as fake to every buyer.

03

No structural edits

No added windows, no removed walls, no changed flooring. Staging furnishes; it does not renovate.

Questions

Why not ship it now? It sells listings.

Because a staged image presented as a photograph is a misrepresentation, and the tooling to keep the label attached — in the file, the caption and the export — does not exist yet. Building the renderer first would make the dishonest path the easy one.
